School Board Wins Outstanding Board Award Again
For the second year in a row, the South Sarpy School District No. 46 school Board of Education won the Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) Outstanding Board Award.

Only seven school boards in the state earned the award for 2008-09 year. The South Sarpy Board has won the award three times in this decade. The placque was presented to President Tom Marshall on Wednesday, October 7, at an NASB area membership meeting. All six members of the Board were present to receive the award. This year's Board members include Marshall, Kyle Fisher (Vice-president), Gene Lienemann (Secretary), Todd Neitzel, Brenda Sherman and Nick Stolzer. Individual awards were also received by four members at the NASB meeting. Todd Neitzel and Kyle Fisher were awarded Level III pins in the NASB Individual Achievement Program. Brenda Sherman and Nick Stolzer were awarded Level I pins. |
