As a part of our inclusion in the Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties, our school district will participate in the Open Enrollment process beginning in 2010-2011.  Open Enrollment allows parents and students to apply to attend any school building within the 11 school districts that make up the Learning Community.  Applications are due March 15, 2010.  In January 2010, Superintendent Chuck Chevalier sent a letter in building newsletters explaining Open Enrollment.  Click here to view that letter.  Any parents or visitors to this website can also view a packet that provides more details about the process and making applications.  Click here to view that packet.  Also, you may click here to view the Open Enrollment application and instructions.

The Board of Education recently approved a revised 2010-2011 calendar.  Click here to view the revised 2010-2011 calendar.  The Board will consider and approve the 2011-2012 calendar this spring. 

For the second year in a row, the South Sarpy School District No. 46 Board of Education won the Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) Outstanding Board Award. Only seven school boards in the state earned the award for 2008-09 year. The South Sarpy Board has won the award three times in this decade.
